گروه صنعتی پارس استا فعالیت خود را در سال 1354 به همت دکتر پرویز جهانگیری آغاز کرد. ایشان پس از فارغالتحصیلی و بهرهگیری از دانش و آموزههای استادان برجسته صنعت غذا، از جمله مرحوم دکتر شهاب واعظزاده، مرحوم دکتر حبیبالله هدایت، دکتر مرتضی ملکی و دیگر استادان گرانقدر این حوزه، نخستین گامهای حرفهای خود را با تولید ابتکاری و سیار کنسرو برداشتند؛ اقدامی نوآورانه که در زمان خود با استقبال و تقدیر مسئولان عالیرتبه کشور همراه شد. با شناسایی نیاز روزافزون صنایع غذایی کشور به مواد اولیه استاندارد و باکیفیت، مسیر فعالیت این مجموعه بهتدریج به سمت سرمایهگذاری در زیرساختهای تولیدی و احداث واحدهای صنعتی تخصصی تغییر یافت. در این راستا، دکتر پرویز جهانگیری اقدام به احداث و راهاندازی کارخانههای تولید نشاسته گندم، نشاسته ذرت و واحدهای صنایع لبنی نمود و با نگاه توسعهمحور خود، نقش مؤثری در شکلگیری زنجیره تأمین مواد اولیه صنایع غذایی کشور ایفا کرد. در سال 1368، با احداث اولین کارخانه تولید مکانیزه نشاسته و گلوکز از گندم در ایران و طراحی و ساخت ماشینآلات در داخل کشور، تحولی بنیادین در صنعت نشاسته رقم خورد. این پروژه برای نخستین بار امکان جداسازی و فرآوری گلوتن (پروتئین باارزش گندم) را فراهم ساخت؛ دستاوردی که با وجود سابقه چند هزار ساله تولید نشاسته در ایران، پیش از آن محقق نشده بود. موفقیت این فناوری و انتقال دانش فنی حاصل از آن، زمینه شکلگیری و توسعه بیش از 35 واحد تولیدی در صنعت نشاسته و گلوکز کشور را فراهم کرد و سهم بسزایی در توسعه صنعتی این حوزه داشت. در ادامه مسیر توسعه، با هدف دستیابی به دانش روز دنیا و بومیسازی فناوریهای نوین، شرکت تحقیقاتی پارس استا تأسیس شد تا بهعنوان بازوی علمی و تحقیق و توسعه گروه، نقش فعالی در طراحی، تولید و توسعه انواع افزودنیهای صنایع غذایی ایفا کند و راهکارهای تخصصی به تولیدکنندگان ارائه دهد. به منظور تأمین تخصصی و پایدار مواد اولیه باکیفیت، شرکت بازرگانی پارس استا در سال 1372 آغاز به کار کرد. این شرکت با اخذ نمایندگی برندهای معتبر بینالمللی، نقش مهمی در ارتقای کیفیت تولیدات داخلی و انتقال دانش فنی روز به صنعت غذا کشور ایفا نموده است. امروزه گروه صنعتی پارس استا با اتکا به بیش از چهار دهه تجربه، دانش فنی بومی، زیرساختهای تولیدی و تحقیقا
