Iran HS codes and import duty rates

How is Iranian import duty calculated?

Iran's import duty for a product is the sum of two parts: customs duty (the base tariff rate) and commercial profit. Both are percentages of the goods' customs value. VAT is charged separately, on the customs value plus the import duty.
