عملیات زیربنائی مرتبط با بخش کشاورزی مشتمل بر ایجاد شبکـه آبیاری و زهکشی ( احـداث ایستگـاه اصلـی بـرداشت آب از رودخـانه و یک ایستگاه اصلـی پمپاژ زه آب به خارج از اراضـی و نه ایستگاه فـرعـی پـمپاژآب و...)، 801 کیلومتر جاده اصلی و فرعی و ...در محدوده ای بالغ بر 11369 هکتار از اراضی تحت مالکیت، انجام گردید. عملیات اجرائی ساخت، مونتاژ و نصب تجهیزات و ماشین آلات کـارخانه شکر با تجهیزاتـی به وزن 5943 تن ( شامل 4065 تن تجهیزات ساخت داخل و 1878 تن تجهیزات ساخت خارج ) و انجام عملیات تأسیساتی و ساختمانی و سیویل آن، پس از یک دوره وقفه، از تاریخ 89/05/01 تحت یک برنامه زمانبندی بسیار فشرده آغاز گردید. شرکت کشت و صنعت نیشکر دهخـدا در راستای سیاست های کلان اقتصادی و اجتماعـی کشـور و بمنظـور تأمیـن بخشـی از نیازهـای جامـعه و خصوصاً مـنطقه به مـواد غـذایی و سـایر مـواد استحصالـی از نیشکر و ایـجاد اشتـغـال و تولید با سرمایه گذاری بانکهای صادرات ایران و ملی ایران راه اندازی گردید. شرکت کشت و صنعت نیشکر دهخـدا در راستای سیاست های کلان اقتصادی و اجتماعـی کشـور و بمنظـور تأمیـن بخشـی از نیازهـای جامـعه و خصوصاً مـنطقه به مـواد غـذایی و سـایر مـواد استحصالـی از نیشکر و ایـجاد اشتـغـال و تولید با سرمایه گذاری بانکهای صادرات ایران و ملی ایران راه اندازی گردید . خالص اراضی این کشت و صنعت 11369 هکتار و ظرفیت اسمی تولید در آن به ترتیب 100 هزارتن شکر خام ، 175 هزارتن شکر سفید و30 الی 38 هزارتن ملاس و فرآورده های آن و 330 هزارتن باگاس می باشد ، که زمینه ساز ایجاد خیل عظیمی از صنایع پایین دستی صنعت نیشکر برای تکمیل زنجیره ارزش این صنعت است.محصولات تولیدی اصلی و فرعی و ظرفیت اسمی تولید آنها در این کشت و صنعت عبارت است از : سالانه 1,000,000 تن نیشکر و 100,000 تن شکر خام و 175,000 تن شکر سفید و 35,000 تن ملاس و 340,000 تن باگاس . شکر سفید از تصفیه عصاره نیشکر برای حذف ناخالصیها و ایجاد یک شکر خالص به دست میآید که در مقایسه با شکر قهوه ای بافت ظریفتر و طعم شیرینتری دارد. ملاس در طی استخراج قند از چغندر قند و نیشکر به دست میآید که حاوی انواع مواد معدنی و ویتامینها است. باگاس محصول جانبی فرآیند تولید شکر از نیشکر است که در فرآیند تولید کاغذ، مصالح ساختمانی و انواع سوخت بکار گرفته می شود. شکر خام
