پايه گذاري شركت سيمكو در تهران 1347 به منظور توسعه و استفاده از تكنولوژي مدرن، كارخانه اين مجموعه به شهر رشت منتقل گرديد و در زميني به مساحت 150000 متر مربع و با ظرفيت اسمي 15000 تن به مرحله بهره برداري رسيد 1354 توليد كابل 20 كيلو ولت با استفاده از تكنولوژي Gas Curing براي اولين بار در ايران 1376 توليد كابل 63 كيلو ولت و اخذ گواهينامه Typetest از آزمايشگاه بين الملليKEMA كشورهلند و دريافت لوح تقدير به عنوان اولين توليد كننده اين كابل در ايران 1377 توليد كابل 132 كيلو ولت باز هم براي اولين بار در ايران 1381 اخذ گواهينامه Typetest از آزمايشگاه بين الملليKEMA كشورهلند و اثبات مجدد كيفيت برتر محصولات 1382 احداث خط كامل توليد كابلهاي فوق فشار قوي 400 كيلوولت و ساخت آزمايشگاه كنترل كيفي با قابليت تست Impules تا سطح 1600كيلو ولت و تست ولتاژ AC تا 500 كيلو ولت 1387 توليد كابل 230 كيلوولت با هادي ميليكن 1600 ميليمترمربع و اخذ گواهينامه Type test آن از شركت CESI 1389 و هم اكنون با گذشت نيم قرن همچنان خود را متعهد به تامين نيازهاي جامعه مي دانيم و براي توسعه و پيشرفت اين مرز و بوم تلاش مي كنيم
