شرکت داروسازی فاران شیمی در سال ۱۳۸۱ با ماهیت تعاونی تولیدی در زمینی با مساحتی حدود ۱۷۰۰۰ متر مربع در شهرک صنعتی تويسركان تأسیس گرديد. این شرکت کار خود را با تولید اسید سالیسیلیک آغاز و در سال 1386 به گروه صنعتی گلرنگ پیوست. پس از تشكيل شرکت سرمایه‌گذاری دارويي گلرنگ در سال ۱۳۸۹ شركت داروسازی فاران شیمی به عنوان يكي از شركت‌هاي عضو اين هلدينگ مطرح گرديد و با توجه به پیشینه و داشتن زيرساخت‌هاي اساسی به سرعت مورد توجه مديران هلدينگ قرار گرفت. شركت داروسازی فاران شیمی با بهره‌گيري از چهار پارامتر اصلي بازوهاي مديريتي، مالی، علمی و اجرايی به سرعت رشد و پتانسيل‌هاي بالقوه خود را شكوفا نمود. هم‌اكنون کارخانه با اين مجموعه زمينه اشتغال‌‌زايي مناسبی را براي شهرستان تويسركان ايجاد نموده كه بخش عمده آن فارغ‌التحصيلان بومی اعم از ليسانس، فوق ليسانس و دكترا داروساز بوده‌اند. "در حال حاضر این مجموعه با توجه به تولید انواع قرص‌های ترک اعتیاد داراي بيش از 350 نفر پرسنل به صورت مستقيم هستند كه با راه‌اندازی خطوط جديد، ظرفيت جذب نيرو تا 500 نفر را خواهد داشت." در بخش LVHV با بهره‌گيري از مهارت و دانش اساتيد خبره در اين شركت، قادر به توليد داروهاي بسيار حساس با تكنولوژی بالا است. در زمینه توليد داروي تمام شده، شركت فاران علاوه بر خط توليد محلول همودياليز، از بهمن ماه سال ۹۱ مبادرت به احداث خط توليد انواع جامدات (قرص) به ظرفيت صدوپنجاه میلیون قرص در سال نموده كه با تلاش و كوشش دست اندركاران به بهره‌برداري رسيده‌است. به عنوان اولين محصول، قرص بوپرنورفين زير زباني دو ميلي‌گرم توليد شد كه ماده اولیه آن يعني بوپرنورفين هيدروكلرايد نيز توليد بخش API همين شركت است. به عنوان مثال قادر به تولید ماده اوليه بوپرنورفين هيدروكلرايد گرديده است. قرص بوپرنورفين به عنوان جايگزين قرص متادون مورد استفاده قرار مي‌گيرد و علاوه بر اثـــر بخشی بهتر، داراي مزايای بسياری نسبت به متادون، از جمله عدم ايجاد اعتياد است. در حال حاضر كليه شركت‌های داخلی مجاز به تولید بوپرنورفین، از محصول توليد شده در شرکت داروسازی فاران شیمی استفاده مي‌كنند و همچنين با توجه به كيفيت بسيار بالاي آن امكان صادرات به كشورهاي ديگر نيز مهيا شده است. همچنين شركت مبادرت به احداث خط استحصال فرآورده‌های اپيوم نمود. اين خط كاملا” مطابق
