امروزه سختکاری بخش مهمی از عملیات حرارتی است. افزایش سختی فلزات در کنار بهبود خواص مکانیکی نظیر مقاومت به سایش، مقاومت به خستگی، مقاومت کششی و... یکی از اهداف عملیات حرارتی بوده و تقریباٌ هیچ فرآیند تولیدی بدون گذر از آن به مقصد نخواهد رسید. مهندسی سطح در حقیقت شامل بهبود خواص سطحی قطعات به کمک تغییر ترکیب شیمیایی یا ساختار سطح و یا به کمک نشاندن یک لایه با خواص مناسب بر روی سطح است. هدف بسیاری از لایه های نفوذی و پوششهای سطحی نیز، افزایش سختی در کنار بهبود خواصی مانند مقاومت به خوردگی، مقاومت به سایش و... است. بنابراین طبیعی است که مجموعه عملیات حرارتی های منجر به افزایش سختی و ایجاد لایه های سخت نفوذی و پوششی در سطح را سختکاری بنامیم. گروه سختکاری با دارا بودن تیم تحقیقاتی مجرب و با بهره گیری از علوم مهندسی مواد، مهندسی ساخت و تولید و مهندسی شیمی، از ابتدای فعالیت خود اقدام به بومی سازی فرآیندهای وارداتی در زمینه سختکاری و زیرشاخه های مرتبط با آن نموده است. در این راستا هدف گذاری اصلی با پرهیز از موازی کاری با سایر واحدهای صنعتی داخل کشور، شناسایی و رفع نیازهای ضروری صنایع در زمینه عملیات حرارتی و مهندسی سطح در جهت قطع وابستگی به خارج بوده است. براین اساس فعالیت های اصلی این مجموعه در شاخه های تخصصی تر و گاهی غیر مرتبط باهم، متمرکز شده اند. مهمترین فعالیتهای گروه سختکاری عبارتند از: ♣ PVD TiN سایر پوششها ♣ نیتراسیون و آرکور نیتراسیون آرکور ♣ نمکهای سختکاری ♣ مهندسی معکوس ♣ سیانید سدیم زمینه فعالیت های متفاوت گروه سختکاری ( پلی تکنیک - آ.اف.ک ) در کاتالوگ ذیل شرح داده شده است جهت دانلود کاتالوگ فعالیت های این مجموعه روی لینک زیر کلیک کنید The download folder seems to be invalid.
