کارخانه داروسازی پورسینا در سال ۱۳۳۸ با نام اولیه لابراتوار داروسازی آویسنا موفق به دریافت پروانه بهره برداری از وزارت صنایع و معادن شد. این مجموعه که بنای اولیه آن در تهران، خیابان ولیعصر گذاشته شد، در سال ۱۳۴۶ در اداره ثبت شرکت ها تحت عنوان شرکت تولیدی داروسازی آویسن با مسئولیت محدود، ثبت شد. مرحوم دکتر میرنجف هاشمی (رئیس سندیکای داروسازان قبل از انقلاب)، دکتر فیروز گلشنی، منوچهر گلشنی و عنایت الله گلشنی از بنیان گذاران این کارخانه داروسازی بوده اند. بیشتر ببینید لابراتوار این لابراتوار داروسازی در ابتدا فعالیت خود را با تولید ۱۵ نوع فرآورده دارویی پودر و مایع آغاز نمود. در سال ۱۳۵۹ این لابراتوار به منطقه‌ی صنعتی فعلی با وسعت ۶۰۰۰ مترمربع واقع درکیلومتر ۲۲ جاده مخصوص تهران – کرج منتقل گردید و مدتی بعد، تهیه‌ی فرآورده‌های آرایشی و بهداشتی را به جمع تولیدات خود اضافه نمود. این شرکت از سال ۱۳۷۱ تولید داروهای گیاهی استاندارد را نیزبه محصولات دارویی خود افزود. بیشتر ببینید پیشرفت شرکت پورسینا برای پیشرفت در زمینه‌ی صنعت داروسازی و تحقیقات دارویی و کلینیکی علاوه بربه کارگیری امکانات و ظرفیتهای فنی و تخصصی خود ، ارتباط نزدیکی را با مراکز دانشگاهی ، تحقیقاتی و متخصصین صنعت داروسازی برقرار نموده و تاکنون بیش از ۲۰ طرح تحقیقاتی و کلینیکی را مورد حمایت خود قرار داده است . سعی و تلاش و همت همه دست اندرکاران این مجموعه بر آن است تا محصولاتی مطابق با استانداردهای جهانی عرضه نمایند تا علاوه بر ارائه دادن داروهایی با کیفیت بالا و ایده آل در بازار دارویی کشور، امکان عرضه جهانی آنها را نیز فراهم آورد. بیشتر ببینید رشد مجموعه در حال حاضر، هم راستا با توسعه صنعت داروسازی در کشور وسعت این کارخانه به ۱۷۰۰۰ متر مربع و تولیدات آن به ۸۰ قلم داروی شیمیایی (قرص، ساشه و شربت) و ۲۸ قلم داروی گیاهی رسیده است. درحال حاضر لابراتوار داروسازی پورسینا با در اختیار داشتن ۱۲ دکتر داروساز به علاوه کادر مجرب، دستگاههای پیشرفته تحقیقاتی ، آزمایشگاه ها ، ماشین آلات مدرن و فضای گسترده‌ی تولید به عنوان یکی از پیشگامان صنعت داروسازی کشور در حال فعالیت بوده و با تلاش بی وقفه در حال گسترش همه جانبه تحقیقات خود جهت تولید داروهای جدید شیمیایی و گیاهی است که در آینده نزدیک به سیستم دارویی کشورعرضه خواهند شد . اگ
