شرکت تولیدات کانسارهای افرا (سهامی خاص) در سال 1370 در اداره ثبت شرکت های استان زنجان با موضوع تولید و کانه آرایی انواع خاک های رنگبر و پودرهای معدنی به ثبت رسیده است. شرکت کانسار های افرا با توجه به در اختیار داشتن دو معدن بنتونیت کلسیک با گسترده ترین ذخایر معدنی بنتونیت و خاک های صنعتی کشور و تنها دارنده پروانه بهداشتی تولید و ساخت بنتونیت اکتیو و خاک رنگبر برای تصفیه روغن خوراکی از وزارت بهداشت و درمان، هم اکنون بزرگترین تولید کننده خاک رنگبر (بنتونیت اکتیو شده اسیدی) مورد مصرف در صنایع روغن های خوراکی و صنایع روغن های صنعتی شامل پارافین، وازلین و روغن های پایه در کشور می باشد که با نام تجاری و ثبت شده « افرا » ارائه می گردد. ظرفیت تولید کارخانه 100 هزار تن خاک رنگبر، بنتونیت اکتیو و کمک صافی در سال می باشد که با راه اندازی واحد دوم کارخانه، ظرفیت تولید خاک رنگبر و بنتونیت اکتیو به 130 هزار تن تولید پودرهای میکرونیزه اعم از خاک رنگبر، بنتونیت، بنتونیت اکتیو شده اسیدی، تونسیل، خاک کمک صافی و توکسین بایندر با مجوزهای قانونی در سال افزایش می یابد. شرکت کانسارهای افرا با توجه به در اختیار داشتن دو معدن بنتونیت کلسیک با گسترده ترین ذخایر معدنی کشور، هم اکنون بزرگترین تولید کننده خاک رنگبر و بنتونیت اکتیو شده اسیدی و کمک صافی مورد مصرف در صنابع روغن خوراکی، صنایع روغن های صنعتی شامل پارافین، وازلین و روغن های پایه می باشد که نیاز واحدهای صنعتی را به خاک رنگبر، بنتونیت اکتیو، تونسیل، خاک کمک صافی،مکمل های خوراک دام،طیور و آبزیان و میکروسیلیکا، سیلیکا فلور، سیلیس، خاک گربه و خاک بستر حیوانات در اشکال مختلف (گرانول، پودر میکرونیزه، دانه بندی سفارشی) و در بسته بندی های متنوع به دلخواه مشتری و قابل رقابت با واحدهای جهانی تولید و عرضه می کند. پروانه بهداشتی ساخت از سازمان غذا و دارو 2022 تامین کنندگان اصلی شرکت ملی نفت ایران شرکت فناور برگزیده کشوری از طرف وزارت علوم و پارک علم و فناوری استان 2023 تامین کنندگان اصلی صنایع ملی مس ایران
