
Pardis Petrochemical Company, established in 2001 and located in the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone in Assaluyeh, Bushehr Province, is the largest producer of ammonia and urea in the Middle East. Built across three production phases that began commercial operations in 2007, the complex has a combined annual capacity exceeding 5.265 million tons of products, making it one of the largest urea producers in the world.
The complex uses natural gas as its primary feedstock, consuming around 1.34 billion cubic meters annually, and is renowned for its superior technology and environmental standards. Pardis became notable for producing the world's first eco-friendly urea fertilizer, supplying both Iran's agricultural sector and major export markets.
