About Merooj
Merooj is one of Iran's best-known sportswear and athletic equipment producers, founded in 1987 by Majid Saeedifar, a former physiotherapist of the Iran national football team. The company began as a distributor of footballs and gradually grew into a manufacturer and marketer of athletic footwear, apparel, and sporting equipment with factories in Iran and partner production in countries such as China, Vietnam and Thailand.
Merooj is widely regarded as Iran's most internationally recognized homegrown sportswear brand, exporting to around 25 countries and supplying competition and training kits to numerous national teams. The brand has a strong heritage in football and volleyball, having produced apparel for Iran's national volleyball teams and served as an official apparel supplier for international volleyball events. In recent years the company has rebranded under the name Majid.
