About Iran Electronics Industries (SAIRAN)
Iran Electronics Industries (IEI), known in Persian as SAIRAN, was founded in 1972 with initial investment from the Iranian government. Headquartered in the Pasdaran district of Tehran, it grew from a maker of household and consumer electronics into the largest electronics manufacturing group in the country, overseeing several major subsidiaries with industrial complexes in Tehran, Isfahan and Shiraz.
Today SAIRAN operates as a diversified holding active in communications, optics and electro-optics, semiconductors, computers and medical equipment. Its product range spans wireless and telecommunication systems, electronic boards and components, radar and navigation equipment, traffic and intelligent transport systems, satellite and solar technology, and a broad portfolio of professional and consumer electronic devices.
