About ARJ
ARJ is one of the oldest and most iconic home appliance brands in Iran, founded in 1937 by Khalil Arjomand. Its name is an acronym derived from the Persian words for smithing, casting and welding. For decades ARJ was a household name, pioneering the domestic manufacturing of refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, evaporative coolers and other appliances for Iranian families.
After financial difficulties led to a period of closure, the historic brand was revived to resume production of its classic home appliances. ARJ remains a nostalgic and respected name in Iran's appliance industry, associated with durability and the early industrialization of the country's consumer goods sector.
