Pars Khodro is one of Iran's oldest automobile manufacturers, founded in 1956, and is recognized as the first producer of sport utility vehicles in the country. Today it operates as a subsidiary of the SAIPA Group.
Headquartered in Tehran, Pars Khodro manufactures passenger cars and crossovers, including locally produced Renault and Dacia-derived models such as the Tondar and the Sandero, alongside Chinese-licensed models and SAIPA-platform vehicles like the Quick. The company maintains its own production lines and a national dealer and service network, contributing significantly to Iran's domestic vehicle output.
