
Iran Khodro Company (IKCO) is Iran's largest automaker and one of the biggest vehicle manufacturers in the Middle East. Founded in 1962 as Iran National, the company began by assembling buses and later passenger cars, growing into a national industrial group that produces millions of vehicles. IKCO designs and manufactures a wide range of passenger cars, including its flagship Dena, Samand, Tara and Rana models, as well as locally produced Peugeot and Renault vehicles.
Headquartered on the Karaj Special Road west of Tehran, Iran Khodro operates a vast network of production plants, suppliers and dealerships across the country and exports vehicles to regional markets.
