Mayr-Melnhof Print and Packaging Tehran

Mayr-Melnhof Print and Packaging Tehran is the Iranian operation of Austria's Mayr-Melnhof Group, the world's largest producer of recycled cartonboard and folding cartons. Established as a joint venture following the partial lifting of sanctions in 2016, the Tehran facility is the leading manufacturer of cigarette packaging and a market leader in high-quality packaging printing in Iran.

The plant is equipped with state-of-the-art offset and gravure printing machinery, including rotary gravure with UV coating and advanced converting lines. Drawing on the Mayr-Melnhof Group's decades of cartonboard expertise, the Tehran operation supplies premium folding cartons and printed packaging to tobacco, consumer goods, and FMCG customers across the Iranian market.
