Hormozgan Cement Company is one of Iran's leading cement producers, with a large coastal plant located about 80 kilometers southwest of Bandar Abbas near the city of Bandar Khamir on the Persian Gulf. Established as a joint stock company in 1983 and later listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange, the company benefits from its strategic seaside location, which gives it direct access to export markets and shipping routes throughout the Gulf region.
The plant has an annual production capacity of roughly 1.8 million tons of grey cement produced across multiple operating shifts. Its product range covers Portland cement type 1 and type 2, Portland pozzolan cement, and clinker, supplying construction projects, ready-mix concrete producers, and infrastructure developers both inside Iran and in neighboring export markets.
