Roberts Manufacturing Co. Limited is a private limited liability company jointly owned by Proven Group Ltd of Jamaica and AnsaMcAL Trading Limited. Our journey began in 1937 in the backyard of our founder, J.C. Roberts, who created his first product — a dishwashing soap. His entrepreneurial vision soon expanded into margarine production, sparking the foundation of Roberts Manufacturing Co. Limited in 1944 in Barbados, under the leadership of Sir Kenneth R. Hunte. Sir Hunte went on to serve as Managing Director until 1983, setting the stage for a legacy of growth and innovation. By 1949, our beloved brands Glow Spread and Mello Kreem were launched, quickly earning recognition locally and regionally. Since then, Roberts Manufacturing has continued to thrive, thanks to the loyalty of our customers and the dedication of our people. From humble beginnings to becoming one of the Caribbean’s most successful food manufacturing companies, we remain committed to quality, innovation, and service — values that guide us as we look toward the future.
